About our Club
Chartered in February 1914 as the 96th club in the world, the Rotary Club of Memphis is part of Rotary International, the world’s oldest and largest humanitarian service organization.
We host a weekly community conversations as a community service. Hearing directly from newsmakers, thought leaders and community change makers in a quest for the unvarnished truth, these conversations are unique in their scope and their ability to inform and inspire.
But at our heart, we are a service club, looking to make a constructive and meaningful difference in the lives of the people here in our community.
Service Projects
Members of the Rotary Club of Memphis are actively engaged in a variety of projects. Service opportunities can range from packing meals for international hunger relief, installing clean water systems in developing countries, reading to elementary school children, or even projects our members develop.
Our pandemic response has included multiple mobile food pantries, collecting warm clothing for the homeless, and virtual reading in pre-K classrooms. We are working closely with our community partners on additional ways to safely meet the needs of our community.
Due to COVID-19, we are meeting in person
on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month and virtually on the others. Masks are required at in person events.
