How to Join All new members must be sponsored by a current member of the Memphis Rotary Club. A membership application must be completed by the prospective member and signed by the sponsoring Rotarian. The sponsoring Rotarian must have three additional Rotarians endorse the application. The completed application should be sent to the Rotary office. The application materials will be reviewed by the membership development coordinator who will make a recommendation to the board of directors regarding an offer of membership. Upon board approval, the name of the prospective member will be posted in the club newsletter, The Gong. If, after seven days, there are no written objections, the prospective member will be accepted into the club. If there are any written objections received, the board will reconsider the application and issue a final decision. Upon acceptance, the new member must attend a new member orientation meeting.
