Club Facts Membership: Approximately 200 Membership composed of business and professional men and women, including attorneys, physicians, educators, CEOs, and government officials. Average weekly meeting attendance:100 The Memphis Rotary Club is among the 75 largest clubs worldwide. Rotary International was founded in Chicago in 1905; The Memphis Rotary Club, the 96th club to be established, was chartered on February 1, 1914. The organization is grounded in the principle of fellowship through service. The Memphis Rotary Club is committed this year to establishing community partnerships for service projects. . Through the generous personal giving of the membership, the club/foundation raises over $100,000 a year for the support of its projects. All Rotarians are expected to engage in hands-on participation in at least one of the club's service projects during each Rotary year. |
